Is-It-Hot-In-Here Stuffed Jalapenos

 

Serves 10-12 as an appetizer.

 

Ingredients:

22 large jalapenos (sliced in half lengthwise, and seeded*)

1 pound pork sausage

8 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)

1/2 cup plus 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese, separated

 

Instructions:

Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees F.

Brown sausage in pan over medium heat. In large bowl, mix cheeses. Add cooked sausage to cheeses. Mix until blended.

Stuff each jalapeno-half with the cheese/sausage mixture and place on a baking sheet lined with foil. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup parmesan cheese over each one.

Bake at 425 degrees F for 10-15 minutes.

**Note: Unless you want really hot appetizers, be sure to clean out all of the seeds!!
