Whole-Wheat BLT Sandwich
Serves 1 (multiply for more!).
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 slices whole wheat bread
1 tomato, sliced thick
2 butter lettuce leaves
1 tablespoon light mayonnaise
1 package microwave bacon, 4 strips
Instructions:
Heat 1 tablespoon butter in skillet. Place 1 slice of bread in the butter and let toast. Meanwhile, microwave bacon for 2 minutes.
After first slice of bread is toasted, add another tablespoon of butter to the pan, and add second slice of bread. Toast until nicely browned.
Spread mayonaise over untoasted side of bread. Place lettuce, tomato slices, and bacon on top. Finish with second slice of toasted bread.
Serve immediately and enjoy!!
